One of the perks of sponsoring an animal at the Milwaukee County Zoo is going on a behind-the-scenes tour of animal areas during the once-a-year Animal Safari. This event lets animal sponsors visit the "employees only" areas of the Zoo and learn how zookeepers care for the animals. Become an animal sponsor at the event and you, too, will get a "back-stage" pass. All zoogoers will have a chance to learn about the Zoological Society's Sponsor an Animal program during this event, but behind-the-scenes tours of animal areas are open only to animal sponsors. The last tour starts at 2 p.m.
