YES, there’s trick or treating.
Head to the Zoo this year for safe and fun trick-or-treating. You can collect candy, enjoy live entertainment and even see the animals. Trick-or-treating will be held Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Show off your costume in the 2 p.m. Saturday parade that starts in front of the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm. Visit the Small Mammals Building to see not-so-spooky vampire bats and hear a zookeeper talk about these flying creatures; then head to the Aquatic & Reptile Center to view another Halloween animal mascot—the tarantula. The North Shore Bank Safari “Ghost” Train and the Haunted Halloween Maze also will be open.
Reduced admission rates for non-members:
| Adults: | $6.50 |
| Children: | $3.50 (age 3 to 12) |
| Parking: | $10 |
