Wines, dozens of beers and snacks, and desserts galore! This Zoological Society of Milwaukee (ZSM) fund-raiser has become one of the biggest wine-and-beer tastings in town. As always, this evening at the Milwaukee County Zoo will have a large selection of libations to sample in the Peck Welcome Center. Chat with experts about favorites and enjoy tastes of pizza, cheeses, breads, dips and more. Then see bonobos and gorillas in the connecting Stearns Family Apes of Africa and Primates of the World exhibits, which will be open until 9 p.m. The U.S. Bank Gathering Place will offer sparkling wines, sweets, teas and coffee later in the evening. This event raises money to support all of the animals at the Zoo. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Your fee, less $25, is tax-deductible and includes a complimentary, etched wine glass (5.6% WI sales tax included). Fees are not refundable.
