Hey, it’s an animal party! Be among the first to experience this new, wildly fun family-themed fund-raiser at the Zoo in spring. Start your Zoo adventure with a family photo at a photo station. Then “travel” to exotic locations throughout the park and get the inside scoop on some of the Zoo’s animal stars: the two new tiger cubs, Mahal the baby orangutan, and Happy the hippo. (Zoo Pride volunteers are the experts).
Feast on pizza donated by Palermo’s® Pizza and popcorn donated by Tri City National Bank. Create your favorite ice cream treat at the ice cream sundae bar. Get crafty and hands-on at several kids’ activity stations.
Finish your evening with a dance party as we celebrate the Zoological Society’s 100th birthday! Gyrate with the gorillas and belly dance with the bonobos as you boogie to a kid-friendly DJ. Purchase raffle tickets to win family-themed prizes that could include such items as kids’ birthday parties, restaurant certificates or waterpark passes. It’ll be “zootastic”!
Registration open to the first 500 people. Online reservations will be accepted through April 9, 2010. Only phone reservations will be accepted after April 9 with a credit card, unless the event fills prior to that date. Cancellations before April 9 are refundable minus a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations after April 9 are not refundable.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Of the $75 fee, $35 is tax-deductible; of the $25 fee, $15 is tax-deductible; of the $15 fee, $5 is tax-deductible.
