Julie Pickard, a Zoological Society educator, has managed the Animal Ambassador program for more than 10 years. Here, she presents an Animal Ambassador T-shirt to Ciara Carmichael, a fourth-grade student at Hawthorne Elementary School in Milwaukee in 2006. Sensient Technologies sponsored the school that year.
