Killer Jaguar…No More

Noelle Steffen, the Zoological Society’s fall 2008 communications intern, interviews Neil Dretzka about the jaguar Pat the Cat. Dretzka is the feline area supervisor at the Milwaukee County Zoo. As part of her internship, Steffen interviewed zookeepers and wrote stories for Zoological Society publications. Her article on Pat the Cat, who came to the Zoo from the Central American country of Belize in spring 2008, ran in the Zoological Society’s January 2009 Alive magazine.

The Zoological Society has an intensive internship program for journalism / communication students; go to our Jobs page for details (scroll down for listing).
