Conservation Club for Kids
Funded in part by the ATC Environmental Stewardship Fund of the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin

Join the Kids Conservation Club and make a difference in the world! Knowing that children are the world’s future conservationists, we hope to excite kids about endangered animals and the world that we share with those animals. The Conservation Club is designed to give children more information about endangered species and what they can do to help those animals and others survive. We hope this club will give children the chance to understand global conservation issues through their relationship with our Zoo’s animals.

Each year, the Kids Conservation Club member will sponsor an endangered animal. Upon renewal, the club member will sponsor a different endangered animal chosen by the Zoological Society staff.

The cost of the Conservation Club is $20 per year and includes:

  • A certificate of sponsorship
  • Information on that year’s animal
  • Baseball card-style collector's card with a picture of your animal and fun animal facts
  • Your name on the Conservation Club donor board in the Peck Welcome Center
  • An invitation to the Animal Safari, a behind-the-scenes event for animal sponsors at the Zoo in August
  • Invitations to fun and educational workshops
  • And more…
