Zoological Society’s Field Trip to Chicago's Field Museum

Cost: $60 per person ages 12 to 64; $55 per child (ages 11 and under) or senior (ages 65 and up)
It’s still chilly out there, so spend a day indoors with the Zoological Society at Chicago’s Field Museum. Check out the some of the exciting exhibits that Chicago’s Field Museum offers, like Chicago’s only completely 3-D digital theater with stadium seating and state-of-the-art technology.
Enjoy such temporary exhibits like Creatures of Light and discover the magic of bioluminescence. This exhibition highlights creatures from around the world that have one thing in common; their ability to illuminate. Lovers of art, style, and history will enjoy Maria Pinto Fashions. At Images of the Afterlife you can come face-to-face with ancient Egyptian mummies from Field Museum collections will come face-to-face with the public like never before. And don’t forget about the 35 permanent exhibits. See Sue, the largest and most complete T. rex dinosaur fossil ever found. Then visit Lions of Tsavo, the Ancient Egypt exhibit and many others.
You can also stop for a snack and then lunch either at the Field Museum’s Corner Bakery located on the north side of the museum’s main level. The Golden Arches (McDonald’s) is also available, located the south end of the museum’s ground level.
Cost is $60 per person ages 12 and up and $55 per person ages 11 and under, as well as seniors age 65 and up. Your fee includes an All Access Pass (basic admission to the Museum, entrance to the special and permanent exhibits plus the 3-D movie), and a continental breakfast at the Flamingo Café in the U.S. Bank Gathering Place. Your fee also includes transportation on restroom-equipped motor-coaches, beverages donated by PepsiAmericas®, and a snack on the return trip. (Note to those with allergies: snacks may include dairy and peanut products).
Registration starts at 8 a.m. at the Milwaukee County Zoo; we leave at 9 a.m. We depart from Chicago at 4:30 p.m. and return to the Zoo around 7 p.m. An itinerary will be mailed prior to the trip. Space is limited.
