Parade staging: 5:45 pm, Hyatt Regency Lobby

"Roll out the barrel, we’ll have a barrel of fun."

Experience Gemütlichkeit Milwaukee-style at the 2014 Ice Breaker. We’ll begin the evening with a parade from the Hyatt Regency to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Put on your comfortable walking shoes. The distance is about 1/3 mile and is a 10-minute leisurely walk from the hotel. Bus transportation is available for those who prefer not to participate in the parade.

Inside the museum, travel back to the turn-of-the-century Streets of Old Milwaukee and European Village while you savor Wisconsin’s famous cheese and sausage and sample some German cuisine. On the second floor, experience Wisconsin’s woodlands and learn about contemporary Native American life while you munch on hors d'oeuvres highlighting Wisconsin’s agricultural specialties. Enjoy your cocktails from the cash bars on both floors while you wander the exhibits. After your tour of the museum, return to the ground floor for dessert and coffee before heading back to the hotel.

Bus transportation will be provided for your return to the hotel.

This event is included for registered conference attendees and paid guests.
