Wild Dreams at the Zoo
Not only do dreams come true at the Milwaukee County Zoo, you can have some wild dreams while camping near the animals. Families will gather under the stars and among the exotic animals for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s popular campout, Snooze at the Zoo. Creating excitement and adventure for all ages, Snooze at the Zoo will be held Aug. 8-11. Snooze at the Zoo, sponsored by Post Consumer Brands and Sentry Foods, is the only time the general public can camp overnight at the Zoo.
Media is invited to come to one of the four nights to capture this unique event. Each night features a movie, bubbles, chalk and entertainment sponsored by Educators Credit Union. A buffet dinner will also be served followed by s’mores around a group campfire, sponsored by the Sleep Wellness Institute. Breakfast will be served in the morning as families prepare for a day of roaming the zoo. There will be great stories, wonderful photo opportunities, and a lot of community spirit with so much to see and do. At the time of this release Wednesday night is the only night with space available. All other nights are sold out.
