Enjoy the start of summer at the Zoo during the Zoological Society’s members-only Nights in June. A whole lot of Zoo fun for the entire family to enjoy!

Feed your “roaring” appetite by purchasing delicious food from local food trucks and a sweets tent located throughout the Zoo. Participating food vendors will donate 15% of their sales each night to the Zoological Society’s Sponsor an Animal program. Special thanks to the following vendors: Falafel Guys, The Gouda Girls, Jen’s Sweet Treats, Marco Pollo, Meat on the Street, The Rolling Cones, Streetza Pizza and Truckmeister. Food can also be purchased at the Zoo’s concession stands and food trucks. Rounding up at the Zoo’s gift shop and food concessions during the event also benefits the Sponsor an Animal program.

“Build” excitement as you journey back in time when dinosaurs roamed the earth in LEGO® brick form. “Stomp” over to the Milwaukee County Zoo’s summer exhibit – Brick Dinos, sponsored by Sendik’s Food Markets. Zoo Pass members receive free admission from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Have your Zoo Pass card and photo ID handy).

Make sure to check out Adventure Africa and welcome the Zoo’s two African elephants, Brittany and Ruth, into their new home. The new elephant exhibit opened in May 2019. Chat with volunteers to learn more about elephants and check out the new Adventure Africa Remains to be Seen cart for cool animal biofacts.

Enjoy a variety of entertainment. Shake your tail to music by Our House on the Briggs & Stratton Zoo Terrace Stage, sponsored by Lifeway Foods; Kip’s Fun Show on the Flamingo Patio Stage, sponsored by AAA; and Ali & Doug Duo on the Ralph Evinrude Landing Stage, sponsored by Weather Tight Corporation. Catch performances by Kohl’s Wild Theater at the Kohl’s Wild Theater stage in the farm area. Temporary tattoos for our younger guests will be in the U.S. Bank Gathering Place. Kids can challenge themselves as they crawl through 5 winding maze levels in the Midwest Speleo Cave.

Purchase tickets for an opportunity to feed the seals and sea lions at Ocean Connections (formally known as Oceans of Fun) and learn about ocean conservation. Tickets are $5 each which includes two fish.

The Zoo admission gates will close for the day at 4:15 p.m. and reopen for our event at 5 p.m. This event is only for Zoological Society members and their minor children and/or grandchildren covered on the membership. Milwaukee County Zoo parking fee is $12 (Zoo Pass Plus cardholders do not pay parking). Please have your Zoo Pass card and photo ID ready for the gate attendants.
