Ride on the Wild Side 2019
Forming teams for our annual bike ride is a fun way to get together with your human friends to help support your animal friends at the Milwaukee County Zoo! Teams require a minimum of 5 members and can include friends, neighbors, co-workers, family, etc.
Team Registration is not yet available for 2019.
Team captains, please email the Special Events Department at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in forming a team.
Why Form a Team?
Team captains that form a team of 10 or more people will have their registration fee waived! In addition, a team of 10 or more will have their logo/artwork imprint fee ($25) waived as well! Forming a team* for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s Ride on the Wild Side, sponsored by The Corners of Brookfield, is a fun way to promote your company or organization and support the Society at the same time! Forming a team is also a great way to promote wellness and unity within your group.
* Teams are defined as a group of five or more riders.
If you would like to have your team logo printed on the back of your Ride shirts*, you will need to provide us with artwork on a disk or via email (email@example.com) in one of the required formats: .eps, .jpeg, .pdf, or .tif. Logo must be black and white. The logo imprint fee ($25) will be waived for teams of 10 or more.
The last day to form a team and/or submit a team logo is Aug. 23, 2019.
- If we participated last year, do we need to send our logo again?
Yes. Team logos must be submitted each year.
- Is there an additional fee to just have the team name printed on the shirt and not a logo or artwork?
Yes. The same guidelines apply for logo and artwork as well as simply placing your team name on the shirt.
- Do all the team members have to ride the same route?
No, each rider can choose among any of the four available bike routes.
- When will our T-shirts be ready?
You will be notified the week of the ride when your team’s shirt order is ready for pick up. Orders can be picked up at the Society’s office, located in the U.S. Bank Gathering Place at the Zoo. Shirts may also be picked up the day of the ride.
