Beautiful Rosettes

Jaguar Stella

Jaguars, found in the rainforests and grasslands of South America, are the largest cats in the Western Hemisphere and the third largest overall. Only lions and tigers are bigger. Their stunning tawny coat is covered with dark spots called rosettes, named after their rose-like shape. Their rosettes have an irregular broken border often with a spot in the center. They look a lot like leopards but leopard rosettes are unbroken with no spot in the center. The spotted coat helps camouflage the jaguar, breaking up their outline in forests or grasslands.

Gvie someone special rosettes instead of roses with a sponsorship of the Milwaukee County Zoo’s female jaguar, Stella. An animal sponsorship also makes a great gift for birthdays, anniversaries or any occasion! Hurry before this limited-time offer vanishes after August 31, 2020.
