How You Can Help
The Zoological Society relies on your support to fulfill its mission to conserve, educate and support the Milwaukee County Zoo. Take a look at the many ways you can help the Society during this difficult time.
Renew your Zoo Pass on time. Renewing your Zoo Pass, even though you can’t visit the Zoo right now, helps us maintain our revenue stream and fulfill our mission. Once we have a firm reopening date for the Milwaukee County Zoo, we will be extending your Zoo Pass to make up for the time the Zoo was closed. Additionally, if your renewal comes due during the Zoo closure, it will be valid for one year from the date the Zoo reopens or one year from your current expiration date – whichever is later – so that your membership remains valid for a full twelve months. Attraction coupons will also be extended. Half of the cost of your Zoo Pass goes directly to the Zoo as financial support, and the rest supports the Society’s mission to conserve wildlife and endangered species, educate people about the importance of wildlife and the environment, and support the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Sponsor an animal. You can support our mission by sponsoring an animal. Just about every animal at the Zoo is available for sponsorship. Right now we have a limited-time offer for Stella the jaguar that comes with a plush toy!
Donate to our annual appeal. This year’s appeal supports Zoo and Zoological Society conservation efforts, including zookeeper conservation trips around the world and projects right here in Milwaukee, such as helping migrating birds.
- Continue to support the new hippo habitat by donating to the capital campaign. Construction continues on the hippos’ new home during the Zoo’s closure.
Now more than ever, we appreciate your support of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County Zoo.
