“The zoo education classes are WONDERFUL! My son, who has been in these classes since he was 3 years old, absolutely enjoys them. He learns so much about the animals, which helps him to appreciate each one even more. The children are so involved in many different hands on activities. That makes it exciting and intriguing for the children as they learn. The teachers are amazing, you can tell they are prepared and love what they do! My son asks when the next zoo class will be right after one has just finished! As we drive past the zoo almost every day he says "Hi zoo and Hi zoo class!" This is because of the great experience he has at each education class! I recommend the zoo education and summer camps to everyone.”

Online Registration Begins Feb. 4, 2015, at 5 p.m.

As usual, Zoological Society members registering online get priority over later mail and phone registrants.

To register for classes successfully, follow the steps below:

  1. Anytime between now and 4 p.m. on Feb. 4, go to Online Registration. Log in and create OR update your Education Account (updates must be made before registrations can be finalized).
  2. Registering families together: If two families choose to register together, they both must be Zoological Society members and create or update separate Education Accounts PRIOR TO REGISTERING. One family will then need the second family’s last name, member number and email address to register both families. You may register with another family only if both families are registering at least one child for the same day.
  3. At 5 p.m. on Feb. 4: Registration begins for all Zoological Society members.
