Honor a Loved One
Pay tribute to a friend, colleague or loved one when you make a donation in their name. We have several options for tributes and memorials, from animal sponsorships starting at just $25 to major contributions.
Sponsor an Animal
Most animals at the Milwaukee County Zoo are available for sponsorship. Sponsorships start at $25 and are renewable annually. Your loved one’s name will be displayed on our “All in the Family” donor board in the Peck Welcome Center for one year, and you will receive additional benefits depending on giving level. Sole animal sponsorships are also available for certain animals. Funds from the Sponsor an Animal program support our mission to conserve, educate and support the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Contribute to Our Annual Appeal
Each year, the Zoological Society selects a project to fund through its annual appeal. This year, the appeal is raising money to complete the design for the new rhino habitat and central pathway. Donations of $100 or more, including memorial donations, will be recognized on an electronic sign in the Conservation Outpost in Adventure Africa.
Donate a Tribute Bench
A tribute bench is a beautiful way to recognize your loved one at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Benches cost $5,000 and include a nameplate to honor your loved one. Nameplates will be up for 10 years with an opportunity to renew with an additional contribution at the end of that timeframe. Major Gift Contributions
