Enter the milk chugging contest with others in your age group! Visit our Farmer’s Market. Watch cooking demonstrations. Kids can compete in the tractor-pull contest. So many farm & family-friendly activities to enjoy!

Elephant Appreciation Day

Learn all about the earth’s largest land mammal. Special events are designed to spread awareness and highlight the conservation efforts for these majestic, endangered animals. Tour the elephant barn!

If you enjoyed the 1989 movie “Field of Dreams” – with the unforgettable line, “If you build it, he will come” – then join the Zoological Society of Milwaukee on our fall field trip to Dyersville, Iowa, where the film was shot.

Boo at the Zoo

Visit our pumpkin patch filled with hand-carved, glowing pumpkins. Ride the "Raven's Rail" train. Enjoy many scary, family-friendly but ghoulishly fun activities. (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

Can you howl like a wolf? Test your skills in our howling contest. Learn about the significant role wolves play in our ecosystem. Make wolf-inspired crafts.

Trick-or-treat through the Zoo! March in our Halloween costume parade. Watch our animals enjoy treat-filled pumpkins. Oct. 23 (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and Oct. 24 (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
