The mission of the Zoological Society is to support the Milwaukee County Zoo, to educate people about the importance of wildlife and the environment, and to take part in conserving wildlife and endangered species.
It doesn't matter where you live...anyone can become a member of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee and take advantage of great member benefits. Your Zoo Pass is valid for 12 months from the date you join. A family of four can pay for the cost of the Zoo Pass in just two Zoo visits. To see the benefits included in each level of Society membership, please visit our Membership Categories information, and select the category that is best for you. You can choose to include parking with your membership by purchasing a Zoo Pass Plus.
As a member, when you visit the Zoo, simply present your Zoo Pass and valid photo ID. (The address on your ID and your Zoo Pass should match.) Your Zoo Pass is non-transferable and where applicable, members must accompany guests. Milwaukee County parking fee is additional. If you hold a Zoo Pass Plus, the parking is included for one vehicle per membership per day.
Our organization is separate from the Milwaukee County Zoo, which is owned and managed by the County of Milwaukee. However, our support, combined with that of the County, has helped to build animal homes that resemble natural habitats. Our "Zoo support" also means raising funds to cover the cost of maintaining and creating educational and innovative exhibits...designing billboards, brochures and other promotional materials for the Zoo...funding several of the Zoo's wildlife research and conservation projects...and providing all of the animal, environmental and science-based educational opportunities to children, adults and families at the Zoo and in communities throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
Members of the Zoological Society enjoy FREE admission to our Zoo and free or discounted admission to over 150 zoos and aquariums nationwide.
