Reciprocal Zoo List
Members of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee get free admission to the Milwaukee County Zoo and to more than 130 other zoos and aquariums!
Our list of reciprocating zoos and aquariums follows. There have been changes made regarding reciprocity for the 2008 calendar year. As an AZA accredited institution, the Zoo has opted to offer free admission to members of AZA accredited institutions that reciprocate with free admission to our Zoo. If a zoo or aquarium is not on our list, it does not reciprocate with free or discounted admission. You must have your membership card with you to receive free admission. The agreements do not include free parking. Most institutions limit reciprocity to two (2) adults and two (2) children. Reciprocity is subject to change. Also, most institutions do not honor reciprocity for special events. Please contact any reciprocal institution with the date you may be visiting to verify reciprocal policies. Please verify updates through our membership office at (414) 258-2333. If you visit a reciprocating institution but are asked to pay, please keep your receipt. Once you return, contact our office at the above number immediately for assistance. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed. We will make an attempt, however, on your behalf.
The John G. Shedd Aquarium (Chicago), Brookfield Zoo (Chicago), San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, and all Sea World locations choose not to reciprocate with other zoos. Therefore, your free admission benefits do not apply at these institutions.
