Get those hands clapping, feet stomping and hips swinging because Zumba® Fitness Party at the Zoo is back! Zumba® has been known to reduce stress, increase energy and strengthen your heart. When you join the Zoological Society’s Zumba® Fitness Party, all those benefits apply and there is an added bonus of helping the Society in its mission to support the Zoo. Money from this event goes to the Sponsor an Animal program. The routines are led by Zumba Jammer™ Rachel Beimel and other licensed instructors.
What: Zumba® Fitness Party at the Zoo
When: Nov. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. Event check-in begins at 3 p.m.
Where: Peck Welcome Center at the Milwaukee County Zoo
Registration: Pre-register at zoosociety.org/Zumba by Nov. 11. Tickets will be sold at the door if the event doesn’t sell out beforehand.
Cost: $20 in advance, $25 at the door
Other details: No prior experience is needed, and all fitness levels are welcome. You must be at least 14 years old to participate.
