The Zoological Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year is all about one of the biggest animals at the Zoo, the hippo. The new hippo habitat is open to the public, and this year’s Zoo Ball is celebrating the big news. The evening begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the Dohmen Family Foundation Hippo Haven. Then, guests will enjoy an al fresco gourmet dinner followed by an after-party.

New this year, while guests at the event can bid on auction items as usual, people at home can put in bids as well! Hundreds of items and experiences are up for grabs including shadowing a penguin zookeeper for a day, naming rights to a Zoo-born animal, a Brewers suite, food-and-drink packages and much more. Everyone will have the opportunity to help the Zoo and win some great items. The auction is officially open and will close the night of Zoo Ball.
