A virtual fundraising event for the Zoological Society.

Animals, an auction, music and more! Due to this year’s health crisis, the Zoological Society of Milwaukee had to cancel almost all of its fundraising events, until now. We are hosting a virtual fundraiser and bringing the Zoo to you at home on Friday, Sept. 11. The Zoological Society will give guests the latest tales and tails. See how zookeepers are helping raise seal pup Bosco, follow Zookeeper Joe around the Zoo as he shows us some unique animal adaptations and learn more about hippos with Kohl’s Wild Theater.

It’s free to join the event but we hope people consider making a donation or bidding on some wonderful auction items. The auction starts on Friday, Sept. 4. Be one of the first (and last) to bid on unique Zoo related items such as the naming rights to a future baby animal or a chance to watch an elephant create a painting that you can take home. There is also a raffle for a behind-the-scenes tour with the Zoo director, Chuck Wikenhauser. Plus, musical group Greenlight will have you singing and dancing in your home during the event and again during a post-event concert.
